Rain boots Obsession

I am sorry for the lack of consistency over the last months. Sometimes it is very easy for me to get involved in multiple projects at the time.  However, my fashion bug never leaves me for good!.
The weather seems to start making a turn for the better here in Okinawa, Japan. We might not have crisp mornings just yet, but we are definitely seeing sunlight leave the horizon earlier every day. Cooler weather, fall colors and pumpkin-spice flavored coffee is what inspired me to obsess about rain boots. Here are some of my favs clockwise:

  1. Tory Burch Lana Lace up
  2. Hunter
  3. Burberry Aberfield
  4. Tory Burch
  5. Michael Kors

I have always been a huge fan of yellow and stripes, something about the duo takes me to a very sunny place. Here in Okinawa, the weather is definitely becoming warmer and sunny by the day.  While browsing for some new spring-summer shopping ideas, I found a new blog. Alba, from Petitsweetcouture styled this yellow-stripes combo brilliantly. Hope you had a great weekend my little bunnies, xo

Winter blues in Tokyo

Jacket ArdenB (old), Bag Michael Kors (, Tory Burch boots (, Burberry scarf (, ArdenB sweater (old)

I am not a fan of winter. Born in the Pacific Coast of South America and having lived in Miami for many years, this gal loves to follow the sun. However, I would never pass on a chance to pull out some of my fav coats to look warm and fab on a last minute escapade. My husband surprised me with a trip to Tokyo at the end of the year. Here are some of my favorite shots.

Crazy for Stripes

Photo from

Today the inspiration comes from one of my favorite fashion blogs. I love how Cara from combined a romantic dress with some pearls for an even softer look. Although it is somewhat of an struggle to find affordable clothes in Okinawa, Japan, I continue to get great ideas from bloggers all over the globe. Thank God for worldwide shipping, right?! Hope you are having a great afternoon and sorry for the extended absence.

So it is starting to feel like the Holidays here in Okinawa, we can feel the cool ocean breeze and the crisp air. I jump at any chance I may have of wearing something warm and cozy. Although most of the days we are blessed with sunshine here, these past few days we got much needed rain. And what a better opportunity to sport my new MK rainboots. My Nona, Jay and I went to a restaurant called Pizza in the sky.... and that is exactly what it is... heavenly pizza on the top pf a mountain overlooking Okinawa, Japan. Enjoy!
